What are the chances of getting pregnant after stopping birth control than a year ago?

Im on birth control for irregular intervals, and I want a child more than anything else! IM planning to stay until April next year. in wonder, Birth Control will help me to get pregnant and help me ovulate. I did not ovulate for a month I do not think because I had no time for almost a year. Well, I have on and off. I have my period twice last year. Birth control is always to think harder or easier? Anyone with similar experiences?

HELP PLEASE! I am very concerned that I am not in a position to have a child.
